Bergamot oil is extracted from the peel of the nearly ripe fruit by cold expression. Bergapten-free oil is produced by a process known as fractionation
Characteristics:
A light greenish-yellow liquid, with a fresh, sweet-fruity scent and slightly spicy-balsamic undertone. It blends well with lavender, neroli, jasmine, cypress, geranium, clary sage, chamomile, juniper, coriander, and other citrus oils. The oil has a refreshing and uplifting quality.
