Description:

Annual or biennial herb up to 3ft/1m high with a smooth stem, feathery leaves and umbels of yellowish flowers followed by flat, small seeds

Extraction:

The oil is extracted by steam distillation (sometimes water) from the seeds

Characteristics:

Seed oil is colourless to a pale yellow, mobile liquid with a light, fresh, warm spicy scent. Weed oil is colourless or pale yellow, mobile liquid, with a powerful, sweet-spicy aroma. It blends well with mint, nutmeg spice and the citrus oils
